About the course

The Lean UX Design course is 3 months of comprehensive lectures (25%) and active practice (75%) with constant mentor feedback, to learn how to work through the complete design process: requirements gathering, UX audit, backlog formation, task prioritization, functionality design, work presentation, design validation, usability testing.
Students will master approaches taken from real design processes in IT projects, taking into account the constraints and resources of most IT teams. We will pay great attention to designing various types of navigation using UX documentation.
The outcome will be 3 projects, compiled into a portfolio, and a certificate issued for successful completion of assignments. It can be added to LinkedIn with a link to the UXTornado page as confirmation of acquired skills.

Все сподобалось, вже тричі була на воркшопах у Віктора) Все зрозуміло пояснює, навіть те, що вже знала було цікаво, бо це означає що робила вірно, також дізналась деякі нові для мене штучкі, які не використовувала в своїй роботі. Загалом мені подобаються формати цих воркошопів: практичні завдання, пояснення та домашки - все чітко і зрозуміло.

I liked the structure of the information presentation, even with a heavy load when viewing in several stages it was possible to understand.

I liked the pace in general, it motivates and helps self-organization. Mentors are very cool, each has their own experience and this has overlapped the question from different sides.

The Lean UX Design course is work following a clear design process to master all its nuances and be able to adapt it to the real needs of projects.

How to get

The certificate is issued for 12 tasks that are accepted by the mentor according to transparent criteria. Typically, 1–2 feedback iterations.

Unique ID

Each graduate is given a unique ID that is stored in our database.
The ID number may be verified upon request by a potential or current employer to verify that the student has completed their studies.

1. Can I watch lectures later, if it does not work out on this day?
It is possible, but we recommend no later than 1-2 days to have time to complete homework and move at the same pace with the whole group.

There will be a recording of lectures and webinars. Webinars are encouraged to attend and ask questions.
3. In what format does a student receive feedback from a mentor?
Feedback on homework is provided to each student individually in the format of a video recording or with comments in Figma, depending on the volume of edits.

4. How long does training take?
We recommend spending 2-3 hours daily, that is, 14-16 hours a week. This time will pay off in work tens of times.

The certificate is issued for 12 completed tasks that are accepted by the mentor. The certificate will be proof of your skills for the market.
6. How many iterations of edits to assign a task?
On average, 1-2 iterations of edits occur per task. It depends on the student's previous base and the speed of assimilation of new knowledge. Mentors evaluate not the number of attempts, but the compliance of the work with established standards.
